I’ve started getting wrinkles at the age of 19, am i too young for dermal fillers?

Hi Adrian, I’m 19 years old and i can see myself that i am already getting some wrinkles. Especially round my eyes, unfortunately i started smoking when i was 15 🙁 I was basically just wondering if you thought it was a bit drastic to have dermal fillers seen as though i’m only 19? My mum doesn’t think i should but i am very self concious about it, could you recommend anything else that could reduce the wrinkles around my eyes? Look forward to hearing back!

Thank you very much for your enquiry.

If you do have wrinkles around your eyes at 19 you are slightly unlucky and ideally it would be best to stop smoking as this can make the lines worse.

19 is a little bit young to have dermal fillers or Botox which are normally used to treat these areas, however I think it might be helpful to send photos to us of the areas of concern to you at infor@aurora-clinics.co.uk and we may be able to give you advise as to the best way forward for you.

I’m on a budget but am looking for a non surgical treatment to improve the appearance of the deep wrinkles on my forehead, cheeks and nose?

Hi I am currently on a budget but am looking for some non surgical treatments to improve my appearance. You see my husband recently left me and i have been enjoying a new lease of life and been keeping fit and have lost some weight and given up smoking. However one thing that is really getting me down is the appearance of my face. I am 42 years old and have developed deep wrinkles in my forehead that seem to be ingrained in and when i move my eyebrows makes them look ten times worse. I also have some deep lines between my cheeks and nose that i think didnt help with smoking. In general my skin tone is not too bad and have been having facial treatments at the salon but wanted something more dramatics. My only concern is cost and that i am going to be paying hundreds and hundreds of pounds every few months. And also if i stop having the treatment will the wrinkles and lines be worse after the effects wear off. Sorry for all the questions but this is something i am seriously considering once i know my budget and the procedure. with kind regards hoping to hear back

Hi, Thank you for your enquiry and congratulations on giving up smoking.

You are right that some smoking can make lines on your face slightly deeper and it does sound as if you would benefit from Botox treatment and dermal fillers to the cheeks.

It may best to send a photos of yourself to info@aurora-clinics.co.uk and one of ou aesthetic nurses will be delighted to get back to you to discuss the best way forward.

Best Wishes
