Teosyal® - Dermal Fillers

Manufactured is done in Switzerland by Teoxane Laboratories wile distribution in the UK is done by Lifestyle Aesthetics. The product is composed of several monophasic hyaluronic acid based products, non-animal by origin and highly biocompatible. Its range of products has low protein and bacterial endotoxin levels hence less hypersensitivity-based reactions. The launch in the UK was done in 2005. Generically it is a Non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid made by bacterial fermentation of streptococci bacteria and does not need prior testing, it is temporary with trace of the filler after utilization

It has a number of product ranges which include Teosyal Global Action (30G) that comes in 25mg/ml of HA, 2 x 1ml syringes per box, injected into the mid-dermal layer, suitable for mild-moderate wrinkles, nasolabial lines, glabellarlines,periorbital and perioral areas.Teosyal Touch Up (30G) is available in 25mg/ml of HA, 2 x 0.5ml syringes per box, suitable for r touch-up sessions when in the process of completing Teosyal Global Action treatments. Teosyal First Lines (30G) is in 20mg/ml of HA, 2 x 0.7ml syringes per box, injectable into the superficial dermis, mainly recommended for fine lines and superficial wrinkles like such as crow’s feet. Dense and voluminous in 25mg/ml of HA, 2x 1ml syringes per box, Teosyal Deep Lines (27G) is injectable into the mid-deep-dermal layer and is suitable for deep nasal furrows, lip augmentation facial contours on cheeks and jaw line. Teosyal Kiss (27G) comes in 25mg/ml of HA, 2 x 1ml syringes per box, is highly viscous with high filling capability for lips; suitable in reshaping lip contours, lip volume increase, mouth wrinkles, lip corner support and rehydrating.Teosyal Ultra Deep (26G) can be found in 25mg/ml of HA, 2 x 1ml syringes per box, injectable into the deep-dermal layer densest in the range thus accomplishing immediate volume-boost; best for restoring facial volumes, resculpting facial contours, deep wrinkles, erasing folds and restoring original curves. Teosyal Ultimate (21G) comes in 22mg/ml of HA, 1 x 3ml syringes per box; injectable in sub-dermal layer, suitable in face remodeling, volume creation in upper cheeks, correcting deep skin depressions and is the most recent addition.Teosyal Meso (30/32G) comes in 15mg/ml of HA, 2 x 1ml syringes per box, injectable into superficial dermis and is best for dermis, neck, hands and décolleté.

It may not be used in persons with a known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, pregnant and breast feeding ladies, lasting averagely 9-12 months. Effects include redness, discomfort at the implant site, swelling. Per treatment, costs vary from £200 to £400 but Teosyal® Ultimate can cost around £600 per 3ml syringe.
